Chartered in 1920, the Kiwanis Club of Morristown is one of the oldest service organizations in Hamblen County. For more than a century, our members have come together with one shared purpose: making Morristown a better place for children to grow, learn, and thrive.
We are professionals, retirees, parents, and neighbors united by the belief that when you invest in kids, you invest in the future of your community. Each week, we meet over lunch to hear from local leaders, plan service projects, and find new ways to support the young people of Morristown.
Kiwanis Kapers: A Morristown Tradition
For decades, Kiwanis Kapers has been our signature annual fundraiser — a community celebration rooted in fun, fellowship, and purpose. What began as a modest variety show has grown into one of the club’s most beloved traditions, raising thousands of dollars each year for the children’s organizations we serve right here in Hamblen County. Kapers has always been about more than a night out; it’s a demonstration of what Morristown can do when it comes together. This year, in partnership with Encore Theater Company, we’re taking it to a whole new level.
2026 Kiwanis Kapers / Morristown… LIVE!
Two nights. One stage. All Morristown.
May 1–2, 2026 | Inman Theater at Walters State Community College
This spring, Kiwanis Kapers takes the form of 2026 Kiwanis Kapers / Morristown… LIVE! — a two-night variety show featuring local talent from across the community, from high school students to seasoned performers. It’s our biggest, most ambitious event yet, and we want you there.
Congratulations to Axel Vargas Huipe of Morristown-Hamblen High School West, winner of the 2026 Student Art Contest! Axel’s bold pop-art design will be featured on event posters and t-shirts for our May 1–2, 2026, variety show at Walters State Community College, produced in partnership with Encore Theater Company. Tickets are $25 — Get your tickets at morristownkiwanisclub.com/tickets.
