Kiwanis is a global service organization with one focus: improving the lives of children. Founded in 1915, Kiwanis International has grown to more than 150,000 members in over 80 countries — and the Kiwanis Club of Morristown has proudly served this community since 1920, making us one of the longest-standing civic organizations in Hamblen County.
Why Join Kiwanis?
Kiwanis is for people who want to make a real difference — not just write a check, but show up, connect with neighbors, and pour their time and energy into causes that matter. Our members come from all walks of life, united by a shared commitment to the children and families of Morristown.
As a Kiwanis member, you’ll have the opportunity to support organizations like the Boys & Girls Club, Imagination Library, Girls Inc., Isaiah 117 House, and more — through fundraising, volunteering, and community advocacy. You’ll also build lasting friendships with like-minded people who care deeply about this town.
What Membership Looks Like
Our club meets every Friday at noon at The Country Club in Morristown. Meetings feature guest speakers from the community, brief club business, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It’s an hour well spent — informative, enjoyable, and grounded in purpose.
Throughout the year, members participate in fundraising events, community service projects, student recognition programs, and our annual variety show fundraiser. There’s always something meaningful to be part of, and you’re encouraged to get involved at whatever level fits your life.
Membership Requirements
Kiwanis membership is open to adults who share a commitment to serving children and the community. There are no specific professional or civic requirements — only a genuine desire to serve. Annual dues support club operations and our community giving programs. For current dues information, reach out to us directly.
Ready to Learn More?
The best way to experience Kiwanis is to come to a meeting as our guest. There’s no pressure and no commitment — just a chance to see what we’re about. You’re also welcome to reach out through our Contact Us page or email us at [email protected].
