Kapers History

Kiwanis Kapers has been the signature fundraiser of the Kiwanis Club of Morristown for decades. What began as a modest variety show has grown into one of the club’s most beloved traditions, and what it raises goes to organizations serving children in Hamblen County. This page keeps a record of past shows.

2026 Kiwanis Kapers / Morristown… LIVE!

May 1 and 2, 2026  |  Inman Theater at Walters State Community College
Two nights. One stage. All Morristown.

The 2026 show marked 75 years of Kiwanis Kapers. It was a two-act variety show produced in partnership with Encore Theatrical Company and written by Tyler McDaniel, featuring Vaudeville-era comedy including Abbott and Costello routines, Broadway and classic American music performed live, student performers from the West View Middle School Drama Club, members of the Walters State Community College Choir, and Kiwanis members on stage in character roles.

Porter’s Tire Store served as presenting sponsor. Ticketing was sponsored by Downtown Morristown.
